Citi Prestige ($ 495 AF) will have 5% on Air & Dining starting Jan 1. And 4th night free at hotels 2x/year. $ 250 Travel Credit. AND Cell phone protection... AND much better travel insurance than Amex Platinum.
Where does that leave Amex Platinum? ($ 50 NET AF after Travel credit, Uber credit, SAKS credit some of which are a PITA to use) - I almost never use it to book airfare. Keep it for lounges and status? It is **bleep** cute.
CIP ($ 95 AF) is probably still worth it for the 3% on cable/internet, not so much for the cell insurance.
Was thinking of going to the Amex Gold ($ 0 AF after travel & dining credits) for 4% on grocery and dining in USA.
Then we still have the good ol CSR ($ 150 NET AF) with 3% on dining and travel (4.5% on the UR points travel spend side). I fly Southwest often and the savings on booking Southwest over the phone with Chase is worth the card alone.
Grocery Stores? Got Costco Visa ($ 0 AF) for 4% there (with Executive Membership) and 6% on Gas (also due to Executive). But planning on adding the Amazon Prime Rewards Visa ($ 0 AF) for 5% on all Amazon & Whole Foods Purchases.
Anyone else got the head spinning after this year?
Thoughts? (Trust me, I already know I'm nuts, so we can skip that one, thanks)
